Getting contented

Here’s our blog about web content. And intranet content. Ready set go. We are bursting with ideas and at last have a place to put them. That’s just the start: we are looking forward to your comments.

Last week someone asked me whether I knew of any ‘New Zealand-based web community that shares information, contacts and experiences focused on content rather than the IT aspects of web.’ Well, no, not last week. But today, here we are.

If you stumble on this blog while it still looks funny, sorry: soon it will be a bit more styly, and properly organised.

Good on you Rachel! Once again you are at the vanguard of providing very helpful, no nonsense ideas and resources in a field mired by obfuscation, distractions and garbage. Bravo and thankyou so much! Keep the suggestions coming.

A new era eh? Good work, but “styly”? Well, at least not “starkish”.

It looks pretty good to me too. I hope to set up a website or blog in the near future. In the mean time I have been doing some web related work for DOC and believe Getting Contented will prove very useful.

Nearly died of shock when I saw those photos on the front page. What a relief to read the associated article. ka pai, great idea Rachel and Alice.

ps I enjoyed Humming Rachel, and felt informed and similtaneous stunned when I saw all those snails from a quarry all stacked up in icecream containers on a tv news item recently.
